Selmech Ultra Low volume (ULV+) Applicator

Selmech’s ULV+ applicator can apply additive at rates from 20ml to 250ml per minute using our own innovative flow measurement system. The applicator uses a peristaltic ‘squeeze’ pump, which has open flow pipe work with no in line flow sensor or filters which could get blocked. When full, the 55 litre translucent tank will treat over 1000 tonnes of forage before needing to be refilled, assuming an application rate of 50 ml per tonne. The Dflow control box automatically monitors and adjusts the flow from the pump to deliver additive precisely. The ULV+ can also be offered as a pump module without a tank, which would allow the user to source their own tank, use an inbuilt tank or even an insulated tank for use in very warm conditions. An optional low-level sensor can be fitted to alert the operator when the tank is nearly empty.

Dflow+ controller

The digital control box automatically monitors and adjusts the pump to keep it’s output constant, this enables the pump to deliver silage inoculant additive precisely. It has a back-lit display for harvesting at night and has on board memory to record the total litres of silage additive dispensed.

An applicator stop start signal from your harvesting machine, if available, can be used by the control box to pause and resume the pump automatically. The hold button will also do this manually.
